“Partnership Beyond Performance“
A lifelong equestrian and dream chaser, Jess has probably spent more hours in the saddle than she has on her own two feet. By the time she had turned 6 years old, Jess was already traveling and competing regularly in western and rodeo events, while also helping her Natural Horsemanship trainer mother as the rider of any young or tricky horses throughout her formative years. Known to “ride anything that creeps, crawls, or walks”, Jess had taste tested many different disciplines, riding styles, and types of horses before finding her true passion in the art of Dressage. This passion can be observed to be tightly intertwined with her unwavering commitment to good horsemanship and the maintenance of a supportive, educational environment for all who walk through the barn door.
Jess’ training philosophy for both horse and rider can be described as simple, practical, and fiercely supportive of any and all efforts aimed towards achieving understanding. Jess has an intense passion for furthering her own education as a rider, trainer and competitor and trains regularly with Olympic medalist Ali Brock.
As a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medalist with Distinction, Jess is prepared to take on any challenge that a horse or client may present - with determination, tenacity, and commitment to help everyone involved to the very best of her’s and her resource’s abilities.
